Flambéed Barbecue Bananas
Delicious dessert for outdoor-freaks (For 4 persons)
| INGREDIENTS
4 | bananas |
4 ts | honey |
| Rum |
4 | balls vanilla ice cream |
| PREPARATION
Let the bananas in their skin and place them on the barbecue over hot charcoals as they are. Let them grill as long as they start "peeing" means the juice escapes. Free the bananas carefully from the skin and place each one on a plate. Spread each banana with one teaspoon of honey, add one ball of vanilla icecream (of course this step is voluntary) and pour over a good shot of rum. Immediately light the rum with a match and let it flambé until the flame goes out. Our special hint: This dessert tastes best if enjoyed far away from any civilization where the only noise comes from chirping crickets...
